Lenoir-Rhyne honors the Class of 1955 as they celebrate their 60th Reunion.  Join fellow classmates for an unforgettable luncheon at the home of President Wayne Powell and his wife, Joyce .  Be sure not to miss celebrating this milestone reunion!  A class photo will be taken at 12:30 p.m.

Come visit the Cloninger House where the Class of '55 memorabilia will be showcased, while continuing your conversations with fellow classmates. NO CHARGE for the classmates of 1965 and retired faculty.  There will be a charge for all other alumni and their guests.


All alumni are invited to enjoy lunch served family-style by current LR students.  This year the Annual Golden Bears Breakfast is being combined with the Bears for Life Luncheon.  The program will includes presentations from classmates, University update from President Wayne Powell and the Annual Alumni Association meeting.  The luncheon will honor ALL "Golden Bears" with special recognition to the newest Golden Bears - the Class of 1965.

Western Piedmont Symphony Performance with the Hickory Choral Society, Louse Toppin, Soprano and Diane Thorton, Contralto

The Western Piedmont Symphony will be presenting a grand celebration of it's 50th Anniversary through the performance of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection". Several members of WPS and the Hickory Choral Society are alumni and faculty of Lenoir-Rhyne University. Tickets can be purchased online at www.etix.com by searching for "WPS".
