Alumni Weekend & Class of 1968 50th Reunion 

All alumni are invited back to campus, Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21, for Alumni Weekend 2018.

We will also celebrate the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1968.

Social Hour - 6:00 p.m., dinner 7:00 p.m.
The Class of 1968 will celebrate its 50th reunion with dinner, a live band and special guest speaker LR President Dr. Fred Whitt. This will be a night to remember! Registration required.
$40 per person by April 1; $45 after April 1 and at the door.

LRU Handbell and College Singers Concert
Grace Chapel
7 p.m.
Enjoy this evening concert featuring talented LR students.
No charge.

Saturday, April 21:

Alumni Weekend Check-In
Cromer Center Lobby
8-11 a.m.
Stop by our registration table to check in, receive a schedule of events and pick up your nametag.

Lenoir-Rhyne University Dining Hall
8-9 a.m.
Start your day with a good meal and enjoy breakfast in the dining hall.
The Class of 1968 will gather in the Seminar Room to eat together.
$7 per person by April 1; $8 at the door.
Breakfast is complimentary for members of the Class of 1968 and retired faculty.

Back to Class: Get to Know the New Science Building with Dr. Marsha Fanning, Professor of Biology, Chair of the School of Natural Sciences
Alex and Lee George Hall
See  the new Alex & Lee George Hall and the renovations to the Mingest Science Building. You’ll also be able to get  a taste of what our students are being offered when it comes to Natural Sciences.

Golden Bears & Bears for Life Luncheon featuring the Annual Alumni Association Awards Ceremony

Registration is required.
$10 per person.
All alumni are invited to this special lunch where we’ll celebrate the Class of 1968, hear from President Fred Whitt and present the Alumni Association awards to deserving alumni. We’ll also find out who wins the inaugural Battle of the Bears annual fund challenge.
The luncheon is complimentary only for members of the Class of 1968 and retired faculty.

Take a tour and see demonstrations of the impressive technology now available to Lenoir-Rhyne Physician Assistant students.
No charge, but registration is required. A shuttle to and from the building will be provided.

Ice Cream Social
The Quad
2:30-4:00 p.m.
No charge, but registration is required.

Head to the Quad for an old-fashioned ice cream social, complete with a DJ. This is the perfect way to wrap up Alumni Weekend!
