This special event, hosted by the class of 1991, invites classes from 1987 to 1993 to reunite and celebrate their return to the LR campus. Enjoy music and hors d’oeuvres. The McCrorie practice field gate opens at 9 AM for tailgating.

Stop by the Homecoming Welcome Center and Registration table to sign up for Bears for Life or join the President’s Society. Those who join the President’s Society will receive a free copy of the new children’s LR interactive book, Go Lenoir-Rhyne Go, which will also be available for purchase for $15. Copies of the new A Fair Star Rises will also be available for purchase for $35.

The Lenoir-Rhyne University Homecoming Parade

STASAVICH PLACE

 

Watch LR’s traditional Homecoming parade along Stasavich Place. The Little Blue Choo, as well as an alumni float, will be in the parade along with distinguished administrators and student leaders. To catch the first ride on the Little Blue Choo*, gather at 9:45 AM in the parking lot across from the large LR bear and climb aboard.

 

 

 

Dedication of the Additional Walk of Honor Bricks

In addition to the 410 bricks of honor that are already in place, an additional 72 new bricks will be dedicated. See this growing stretch of loyalty honoring LR alumni.

The first opportunity to ride the Little Blue Choo train will be in the parade. After the parade, rides will be available throughout the morning. Board at the Luther statue. Please email Heath.Cushman@lr.edu to ride the train in the parade. Passenger limit: 27.

Show your Greek pride, as you enjoy music, appetizers and special beer provided by a local brewery with fellow Greek Alumni. Make sure your fraternity and sorority are well represented: Tau Kappa Epsilon, Theta Chi, Pi Kappa Phi, Theta Xi, Phi Beta Sigma and Sigma Phi Epsilon. Sororities include: Delta Zeta, Kappa Delta, Sigma Kappa, Zeta Tau Alpha and Zeta Phi Beta. Alumni only, no students.
